What and How Successful Newsletters Sell Their Digital Products on Substack
Real examples from real people
I’ve been diving into the world of digital products lately, and if I’m being honest, most of the advice out there isn’t that helpful.
It’s either way too vague or overly complex, and it usually comes from people who aren’t even creating the kind of writing-based businesses many of us are trying to build.
So I did what I always do when things feel noisy. I slowed down, looked at what people are actually doing, and studied what’s working in real time.
I went through case studies, Substack posts, private threads, even Notes.
I wanted to understand what kind of digital products are actually bringing in revenue for creators like us, especially those with small to medium-sized audiences. I wanted to know what’s selling, how it's being launched, and what makes a product stick without needing a huge funnel or team behind it.
This is what I found. And I think you’ll see why I’m so excited about this path.
